My journey in UX began as I explored new career paths after a decade in education, initially delving into digital marketing where I focused on crafting compelling copy and building websites for small businesses and nonprofits. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for visual design, finding joy in weaving data and research with colors, imagery, and layout, all to help amplify and lift up the voices of the organizations I served.

 

Completing the UI/UX Designer Track through Skillcrush provided me with a solid foundation in design principles, but it's my background in psychology and experience as a former school counselor that truly sets me apart. Armed with a deep understanding of human behavior, rich experience in data collection and analysis, and a commitment to empathy-driven design, I approach each project with warmth, resilience, and meticulous attention to detail.
